Core Values

THE THREE CORE VALUES

of the LGBTS CHRISTIAN CHURCH INC.

1.FAMILY–  a group of people who are generally not blood relations but who share common attitudes, interests, or goals and, frequently, live together:

Love makes a family.

Biblical Foundation: I Corinthians 13:4-8

“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.”

Emphasis/Activities

2.SPIRITUALITY – a life oriented toward the Holy Spirit.

3.LIBERATION– the act or process of freeing someone or something from another’s control. It is the removal of traditional social or sexual rules, attitudes, etc.

Biblical Foundation: Isaiah 61:1

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me  because the Lord has anointed me; he has sent me to bring Good News to the oppressed and to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners.”
